And the news just keeps coming in! The last few weeks have been extremely hectic, but it’s good that I didn’t post every instance.First up, at the end of January, RomantiCorp was the 1st place winner from the New Year, New Tools Competition run jointly by Imagineer Systems and BorisFX! As outline before, the entire post-production process of the film was done in FCPX using their plugins, and it\’s an honour to be recognized by the makers of such great, industry-leading software.
Secondly, just the other day, I found out that the film won an additional 3 awards! This time, from the IndieFest Film Awards in Cinematography, Direction, and Post-Production Overall. The submitted version of the film for these 2 was actually different: it’s the new and improved version that was available for viewing in January, before it was picked up by Phoenix Film Festival. There, they had accepted the original, less “spiffy” version of the film, but the one that will be screened is the update, fancy, 4K one!
In celebration of this, I’ve created a new image that shows off the entire cast and crew of the film. Thank-you again to everybody involved in the film, and looking forward to how it will be received at the Phoenix Film Festival on March 26!
