Description
A short internal video created for Technip Abu Dhabi that goes over and explains their approach to corporate training.
As the actual method is very hands-on, we decided to shoot to compare and contrast this with the old “boring” method of “death by presentation”. The opening was staged and shot very smoothly, and with some post B&W and cropping to make it feel old. And then for the Technip method, we shot handheld with lots of movement and coverage, going for a documentary feel to further lend authenticity. This areas were not staged and were actual trainings that we went out to shoot.

Tech
Cameras used were an FS700 and an A7. Support gear was Edelkrone Modula series and the Edelkrone Sliderplus V1 for the opening dollies. We basically stuck to two lenses, Canon 24-105 f/4 via Speedbooster to the A7, and the stock lens on the fs700. There were a few shots with the Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 VC on the last day once I had that lens.
